From an undisclosed location in Des Moines, Iowa, comes this sighting report. It is likely a book store, judging by intact plastic wrap and "Alphabetical By Author" sticker on shelf. It also looks like they're down to their last copy. Snag it now, before their supply is totally exhausted!
The deck is so close to a PMP book yet so far away.
ReplyDeletemmmm, I don't know, that agile project management book from Microsoft looks pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteI like that it's closer to the python book, continuous delivery, and portfolio management. Maybe we could move the Git book a little closer, though.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we need a follow on to "machines who think" called "software companies who think" to describe the new trends in collaboration, empowerment, etc that come from the agile & craftsmanship. Something on craftsmen's studios like BendyWorks and Hashrocket and 8thLight
ReplyDeleteAlpha by author makes about as much sense as "by publisher" in a computer book section...
ReplyDeleteEither way, I like seeing the cards facing out like that. Hmmm... possible guerrilla marketing move?
ReplyDeleteThat would be a Barnes and Noble. I got my cards from one here in Dallas a few days ago.
ReplyDeleteSweet. I saw the deck at B&N in Southlake and made sure they were easy to spot.
